You'd think the entire new Pokedex would already be released by now, considering how soon the games will become available. Everyone's curious about it, especially with some of the already revealed Pokemon having potential for evolutions and pre-evolutions that we don't yet know of.
yeah, I think it's everyone outside japan was used to getting the pokedex before the game was released(since the pokedex was released when the game was released in japan), but now that it is gonna be released the same day world wide we wont see the whole pokedex until then. Yeah, also being curious whether some of old-gen pokemon will have evolutions/pre-evolutions.
Yes, I want some real evolutions for older Pokemon. While I do like choice mega-evolutions, the fact that it's a temporary battle thing is both a letdown and a relief. What I find the most disappointing about it is that mega-evolutions for certain original favorites of mine have been revealed, which practically confirms that those ones won't be getting real evolutions. There go my hopes for Mawile and Absol.
On the other hand, if the final forms of the Kanto starters (and a Hoenn starter) have mega-evolutions, then perhaps other generation starters will also be getting some new attention. If I could have any of them, I'd want a Serperior with wings and forelegs that becomes part dragon-type... which would make Charizard's mega-evolution even more of a joke. xD
So far, there's only Charizard and Mewtwo. I'd like to see an alternate mega-evolution for Blaziken, too. Judging by appearances, the currently revealed one for Blaziken would probably be X-exclusive. Well, I'll have to find out tomorrow when I pick up my copy of Y.
